The Canvas TV presents itself as an economical alternative to Samsung's popular Frame TV for cost-aware consumers. Similar to The Frame, it converts an ordinary television into an elegant wall-mounted art display. Its non-reflective surface enables harmonious integration with traditional artwork in gallery wall arrangements. Differing from The Frame, it operates on Google TV's platform—described by Mashable's Miller Kern (a Canvas TV user) as "significantly more user-friendly and reactive than Samsung's system."
