Rust has a famously excellent interactive tutorial, but a persistent issue with Rust is that there are few resources for those with intermediate knowledge: there’s little between the tutorial and “write an operating system from scratch.” That was around 2020 and I decided to wait and see if the ecosystem corrected this point (in 2026 it has not), but I’ve kept an eye on Hacker News for all the new Rust blog posts and library crates so that one day I too will be able to write the absolutely highest performing code possible.
